Entecavir In The Treatment Of Hepatitis B Cirrhosis And Its Effect On Liver Histology And Serum Complement Levels

Obejective: To determine the efficacy of entecavir in the treatment of hepatitis D cirrhosis and its effect on liver histology and serum complement levels.Methods: 150 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis admitted to our hospital from january 2017 to Auguest 2019 were selected for comparative treatment. They were randomly divided into the research group (75) and the control group (75). The control group was given symptomatic treatments such as liver protection and diuresis, while the study goup was given entecavier. Aminotransfease (AST), serum total bilirubin (TB), liver fibrisis serum marker hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN), type III procollagan amino terminal peptide (PCIII), type IV coIIagen and serum compIement C3,C4 levels of patients in both groups after treatment were compared and anaIyzed.Results: after treatment, the total effective rate was 90.66% in the study group compared with 78.66% in the control group,a stalisically significanl difference (p<0.05). levels of ALT, AST, and TB in the two groups were significantly drcreased after treatment, and the decrease was significantly greater in the study group as compared to the control group (P<0.05). Similarly, levels of HA, LN, PCIII, and type IV collagen in the two groups (P<0.05). C3 and C4 levels in the two groups were significantly increased after treatment, and the increase wae significantly greater in the group as compared to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Ticavir (entecavir) can improve the clinical outcomes of hepatitis B liver cirrhisis patients, reduce liver inflamations, reduce the damage of liver cells to liver issue, improve liver functions, reduce liver fibrosis, and further progression of the disease, making the drug worthy of clinical applications.
