Objective: To analyse the effects of enalapril maleate folate tablets on inflammatory factors, Hcy level, and vascular endothelial function in patients with H-type hypertension. Methods: A total of 156 patients with H-type hypertension who received comparative treatments in our hospital from May 2014 to August 2019 was divided into a study group (78 cases) and a control group (78 cases) using a random digital method. The control group was treated symptomatically to reduce intracranial pressure and promote brain cells. The study group was treated with enalapril maleate on the basis of the control group. Clinical efficacy, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), inflammatory factors [interleukin-1(IL-1), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP)], homocysteine (Hcy), and plasma endothelial function [ET-1] were analysed. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment and the control group was 89.74% and 78.20%, respectively. The total effective rate of the treatment group was statistically significantly higher (P<0.05) than that of the control group. After treatment, the levels of 24hSBP, 24hDBP, daytime SBP, daytime DBP, nighttime SBP, and nighttime DBP in both groups were lower than before treatment. These indicators were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-1, Hs-CRP, and Hcy were lower in both groups than before treatment. These indicators were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After treatment, both groups of patients had lower et-1 than before treatment, and this indicator in the study group was significantly lower than in the control group (P<0.05). Finally, the NO level was significantly higher in both groups than before treatment, and this indicator in the study group was significantly higher than in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Enalapril maleate folic acid tablets can effectively reduce blood pressure and Hcy level in patients with H-type hypertension, inhibit the occurrence of inflammatory response, reduce platelet activity, improve vascular endothelial function, and reduce the generation of atherosclerotic plaque with good clinical effects, indicating the drug is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
