Two-phase mineralization of Hongtaiping Cu polymetallic deposit in Yanbian area (NE China): Evidence from sulfide Rb–Sr dating and in-situ trace element analysis

•The Hongtaiping deposit in Yanbian (NE China) has two mineralization phases.•Stratiform mineralization occurred in the Middle Permian.•Ore materials of the stratiform mineralization were mainly crustal derived.•Stratiform mineralization has higher formation temperature than that of vein-type.•The Hongtaiping deposit can be classified as VMS-hydrothermal reworking-type.
