摘要

•Ni(II) complexes of (1,2) tridentate N3 ligands were isolated and characterized.•1 and 2 exhibit antimicrobial activity against five tested clinical pathogens.•In vivo studies show 1 is effective in preventing Vibrio infection in brine shrimp.
