摘要
•Redox imbalance (the enhanced ability of antioxidative stress) was found to contribute to the occurrence of cisplatin resistance in osteosarcoma.•Ferroptosis can overcome the chemoresistance in osteosarcoma by enhancing the level of reactive oxygen species in cells to attune the redox imbalance.•Gold nanocages coated with cancer cell membrane can not only achieve the targeting delivery of the drug, but also perform the photothermal therapy which can be combined with ferroptosis to overcome the chemoresistance and induce immunogenic cell death.
