摘要
The authors present their own observations on histomorphologic, histo- and immunohistochemical bone resorption studies after rabbit teeth extractions. A combined, xenograft and activated platelet concentrate PRP, preservation method was used. The results obtained were compared to a control group of animals. We noted significant differences in: the structural elements of the new bone, its blood supply, the proliferative activity of the cells forming the alveolar bone, the presence of inflammatory infiltrates. Prolonged, more pronounced, proliferative-regenerative changes in the trial group are demonstrated, with more efficient remodelling of the already formed bone structures. The anti-inflammatory properties of our activated platelets concentrate are being discussed, clearly reducing the risk of undesirable osteomyelitis complications.
