Influence of sintering temperature on microstructure of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 ceramics

摘要
•Comprehensive picture of influence of sintering temperature on NBT is obtained.•NaBiTi6O14 inclusions are preserved in NBT ceramics from calcination stage.•At 1130 °C, NaBiTi6O14 decomposes, TiO2 inclusions with NBT islands appear instead.•Non-stoichiometry due to Na/Bi volatilization during sintering is not detected.•More intense volatilization of Na/Bi at sintering leads to formation of large pores.
