摘要
•Physiochemical property changes of PET fibers after supercritical (SC) CO2 dyeing.•PET crystal orientation and crystal index of fibers increased by adding DR 167 dye.•After SC–CO2 dyeing, some PET fiber C‒C bonds break and new C=O and C‒O bonds form.•SC–CO2-treated PET with DR 167 dye increases fiber tensile strength.
