Additively manufactured δ-ferrite-free 410 stainless steel with desirable performance

摘要
•The δ-ferrite in the stainless steel 410 is eliminated through CMT wire-arc additive manufacturing.•The as-deposited microstructure is nearly 100% evenly-distributed martensite.•Average tensile strength of as-deposited parts is above 1200 MPa without apparent anisotropy.•Post-tempering at 720 °C effectively optimizes the coordination between the tensile strength and ductility.
