摘要
Sudan I is an aromatic azo compound, that is usually used as an organe colouring agent. A series of electrochemical measurements has been done to complete electrochemical analysis of the compound. A few important redox process of the dye have been identified. Two types of carbon-based electrodes have been used during the measurements (pyrolytic graphite electrode and boron doped diamond electrode) for comparison of electrochemical behaviour studied by cyclic voltammetry in a series of Britton - Robinson buffers of pH 7.0.
