摘要
The paper relates the interest of having the 1 km(2) resolution environmental information with the current state of chorological studies started in 2002 in the Eastern Neogene Units of Tajo Basin, natural region located east of the city of Madrid. The method uses standard procedures in Biogeography based on the use of the UTM grid, but emphasizing the comprehensive tracing of 1x1 km cells (monads) to generate a vascular chorology that can be synthesized progressively to other smaller ones (4, 25 and 100 km(2)). Two strategies are established: covering a) small areas in detail, and b) a large area containing them, using sampling. Examples are given for the provisional distribution of five plants, different in character and frequency, that allow to verify the scope of such proposal.
