Performance Of Light And Dark Current-Voltage Characteristics For Pid-Affected Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Modules

In this paper, the I-V characteristics of PID-affected solar modules were investigated under illuminated and dark conditions. Based on the measured data, it is found that the I-V characteristic of PID-affected modules shows a regular change under different irradiations. Under dark conditions, the change of I-V characteristic of PID-affected modules disassembled from a power plant is also revealed. The dark I-V characteristic of PID-affected modules becomes soft. These results indicate that the efficiency of PID-affected modules has a significant degradation under low irradiance.
