Research and application of distributed relay protection test in intelligent substation

Relay protection play a very important role in the safe operation of substation equipment. The level of relay protection test is very significant for reliable and safe operation of substation. However, the current relay protection test still by handwork, On-site debugging testing requires multiple people, and the test efficiency is below average. We present a method of distributed test of trans - interval relay protection using on-site standby fiber in this paper, and designs a distributed intelligent substation relay protection test device. The device realizes the separation of the relay protection test control and the signal output of the intelligent substation, which makes the cooperative test of the cross-interval relay protection more intuitive and convenient, and is also helpful to improve the field test efficiency.
