摘要
The dissolution and chemical forms of sedimentary radioiodine (I-129) in aquatic sediments were evaluated in Lake Obuchi, which is situated adjacent to a spent nuclear fuel reprocessing plant in Japan. The dissolution flux of I-129 from the sediment to its overlying water in the western part of the lake was negligible as with that reported in our previous study in the center part. The contribution of the soluble fraction of sedimentary I-129 was larger in the western part of the lake than in the center.
