Thermal And Solutal Stratification On Mhd Oil Based Nanofluid

This paper focuses on the thermal (epsilon(1)) and solutal (epsilon(2)) stratification on Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) oil-based nanofluid. The local symmetry transformation is applied to convert the governing equations from partial differential equations (PDEs) into a set of non-Linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The fourth/fifth order Runge Kutta Fehlberg method with shooting scheme is applied for numerical simulation. Results obtained were plotted and analyzed. The Figures compared the reaction of both thermal stratification (epsilon(1) = 0.01, 0.9) and solutal stratification (epsilon(2) = 0.01, 0.9). The results show that there is significant positive correlation between them. It was gathered that the result of epsilon(1) = 0 01, epsilon(2 )= 0.01 is higher when compare to epsilon(1) = 0.9, epsilon(2) = 0.9. Result indicates that thermal and solutal stratification temperature theta(eta) and concentration phi(eta) increase as a result of increase in the thermophores parameter, Nt, which is as result of the combine influences of the density and electric conductivity of the nanofluid.
