摘要
This study discussed the acoustic emission (AE) characteristics of different kinds of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester composites under static tensile loading. Two types of AE sensor with different resonant frequency were adopted to distinguish the fracture type; matrix dominated or fiber dominated fracture. Glass fiber chopped strand mat, cloth and roving cloth were used as reinforcement and the AE characteristics of these glass fiber reinforced polyester composites under static tensile loading were discussed.
