Advanced High Strength Steel (Ahss) Alloys Processed By Powder Metallurgy Techniques

AHSS samples were manufactured by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) using an alloyed powder obtained by mechanical milling of a melt spun strip. The materials have promising mechanical properties even under extreme irradiation conditions, recommending them for structural applications with increased background radiation such as nuclear reactors, satellites, etc.
