In Thailand, dengue hemorrhagic fever was first reported in 1958 and in recent years increasing larger outbreaks have occurred and an endemic disease caused a major public health problem. Vector survey is a useful technique for surveillance and control of mosquito. The objective of this study is to apply the Geographical Information System (GIS) and the Global Positioning System (GPS) to dengue virus vector, Aedes mosquitoes distribution in an epidemic area of Thailand.
