摘要
•Micro-sized ZnSe and TiO2-ZnSe spheres were obtained by hydrothermal method.•TiO2 addition induces structural and physical–chemical changes to zinc selenide material.•ZnSe and TiO2-ZnSe surface properties were investigated before and after lysozyme adsorption.•TiO2-ZnSe proved higher lysozyme loading capacity than bare ZnSe.•The hydrolytic activity of Lys/ZnSe and Lys/TiO2-ZnSe is twofold higher than for free lysozyme.
