A Synergetic Organoselenium Catalytic System For Constructing 4-Chromanone Derivatives Via A Tandem Process Under Visible Light Radiation

摘要
A novel visible light-promoted synergetic organoselenium catalytic system that catalyzed a straightforward and efficient tandem reaction for the direct construction of spiroepoxy chroman-4-ones with relatively broad functionality tolerance under mild reaction conditions has been developed. In our protocol, aqueous tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) instead of TBHP in organic solvents makes it greener and safer especially when applied in industry. The discovery of a synergetic organoselenium catalytic system benefits new research on visible light-promoted radical cyclization and catalytic epoxidation with peroxidation.
