摘要
The high-voltage arc corrosion behavior of Cu/ 30 vol% Ti3AlC2 composites in air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and sulfur hexafluoride was studied, and their corrosion mechanism was systematically discussed. Arc energy and electromagnetic force in different atmospheres lead to the different corrosion characteristics in corrosion area. Ti3AlC2 was oxidized and decomposed in air and carbon dioxide, while it maintained a good structure in nitrogen and sulfur hexafluoride. The characteristics of the arc were clearly observed by a high-speed camera. This study lays a foundation for the composition design, performance optimization and failure analysis of Cu-MAX composites in the high voltage electrical appliance.
