摘要

•Randomly mutated Bacillus strain exposed to UV-C for 320 s revealed optimum lipids.•Decanoic acid methyl ester, methyl tetradecanoate etc. are major recorded FAME’s.•Butylated Hydroxytoluene antioxidant mixed with biodiesel remains stable for 25 d.•Physicochemical properties of UV mutated strain were, 85% matched with standards.
