摘要

In China current guidelines, Polyethylene Glycol Electrolyte (PEG-E) is the primary recommended bowel cleansing agent. Oral Sulphate Solution (OSS) is a bowel cleansing agent with fruit flavor and low volume (1L+2Lwater). Watery stool indicates successful bowel preparation before colonoscopy and colon emptying may impact patients experience and sleep quality, especially with split regimen. No comparison of colon emptying kinetics between OSS and PEG was identified from the literature.
