摘要
The design of an electron optics system for the W-band extended-interaction klystron was described. A cylindrical electron beam with voltage 17-kV, current 700mA was produced by a Pierce-type gun and was guided by a single period permanent magnet focusing structure. The design is accomplished with the 3-D simulation code CST.
