N-doped Co3O4 catalyst with a high efficiency for the catalytic decomposition of N2O

lN-doped Co3O4 catalysts were synthesized by a facile g-C3N4-modified sol-gel method.lN-doped Co3O4 catalysts showed superior N2O decomposition activity than the pristine Co3O4.lN-doping facilitated the creation of defective structure, surface Co2+, and basis sites on the catalyst.lIntroduction of N improved the electron donation ability of Co2+ and enhanced the redox property of Co3O4.
