摘要
The movements of the planets can be interrelated with each other geometrically by means of depicting their conjunctions. At these positions they have the maximum gravitational influence on each other. When one depicts some hundred conjunctions in the plane of the ecliptic, some highly regular geometrical figures result which show clear rotational symmetry. This especially applies to the four large gas planets of the outer region of the solar system. Their movement relationships are ordered consistently in accordance with a twelvefold geometry. This also includes the common gravitational centre of the overall system (barycentre). The conjecture is made that the arrangement according to the number twelve permits especially stable long-term relationships without which life on this planet would not be possible.
