摘要
In the present work, the stability of the separation efficiency of the mass-separator MASHA for radon and mercury isotopes has been studied. The isotopes were produced in the complete fusion reactions Sm-144(Ar-40,xn)Hg184-x and Er-166(Ar-40,xn)Rn206-x at a beam energy of E-beam=5-7 MeV/nucleon and registered at the focal and middle planes of the MASHA setup. An influence of the catcher material for on the setup working stability is shown. New design of a "solid hot catcher" based on thin layers of graphene and carbon nanotubes was developed and tested. Experiments have shown the potential of using these materials at the beam intensity of heavy ions similar to 0.5 p mu A.
