Future computing system using high speed low power consuming nano electronic devices is a significant outcome of the empirical study of post CMOS devices.SingleElectronics,even in its embryonic stage revealed enormous potential in diminishing the shortcomings of conventional CMOS.Thorough study on SE ushered Single Electronic Encoded Logic and this led to new single electron devices.The authors here without confining themselves in the study of single electronic fabrication put a leap forward to design room temperature operable CMOS compatible equivalent single electron arithmetic logic unit. The proposed design includes simple 1-bit ALU, the operation of which can be further extended to MIPS ALU designing. The authors admit that it is fascinating but painstaking endeavor.
