Bersatide: A Web Tool To Generate Educational Designs Based On Cscl Principles

The design of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) scenarios in higher education constitutes a hard challenge to university teachers. This kind of educational processes requires strong planning to face with the multiple factors involved on them. After the deep analysis, during the last six years, of two case studies in higher education, we present Bersatide (Best practices collaborative design editor). It is a web based tool that has emerged from the accumulated experience within the transdisciplinar GSIC-EMIC research team, that enables CSCL practicioners to take into account the hot topics concerning the design, implementation and evaluation of educational CSCL scenarios. The tool is part of a more ambitious proposal to give a complete technological solution to support CSCL environments.
