Study Of Data Quality

With the notion of achieving the use goal as effective, we present the concept of data quality with "effectiveness of use" as the core, and try to establish the basic theory and method of data quality. On the basis of distinguishing a numerical data into amount and count, we define novelty and complete that are members of the goal set; establish the correlation functions between a goal and a dataset and data quality functions of the single-target and multi-target, which contain the specification and size of the data. Given examples verify that different targets of using data should lead to different evaluation results data quality, and show that the method proposed in this paper has a comprehensible quantitative form that is easy to implement by programming.
