In order to make the energy-saving of power grid more pertinent, this paper studied the refined calculation model of power grid losses and loss transmission mechanism. Based on the traditional loss calculation method, an accurate loss calculation method based on load curve was proposed, and the influence of new energy access on the loss calculation results was analyzed. Based on the characteristics of power grid, that is, the reduction of power loss in lower power grid can reduce transmission power and power loss in higher power grid, a transmission model of power loss was proposed. Taking transmission lines and transformers with different voltage levels as examples, the influence of load curve sampling period and new energy access on loss calculation results was studied, and the influence of loss transmission mechanism on power network planning and operation was discussed.
