Influence Of Integration Cycle Duration On Synchronization Process In Ttethernet Networks

Synchronization between device clocks is very important in deterministic networks like TTEthernet. Therefore, selection of the synchronization parameters of network devices is of the great significance. Among these parameters is the integration cycle duration, which is in focus of this paper. For simulation purposes is used an OMNeT++ simulator developed by us. Obtained results show that the synchronization of the observed device local clock with rest of the network is established earlier for shorter integration cycle durations.
