摘要
This feasibility study employs electromagnetic acoustic resonance (EMAR) to measure tensile forces in steel wires, which are widely used in various types of prestressed structures. Measuring tensile forces in steel wires is critical for the health and safety of prestressed structures, where steel wires serve as load-bearing elements, and EMAR enables accurate measurement of resonance frequency and as well as noncontact excitation and detection of axial shear waves. The results show promising feasibility for measurement of tensile forces in steel wires.
