Orbit Determination Of Geostationary Satellite Based On Extended Sequential Algorithm

Orbit determination with the sequential algorithm has the advantage with real-time or quasi real-time performance. It is important to orbit prediction for the navigation satellite.It makes the error minimum caused by linearization for satellite orbit determination with the extended sequential algorithm. Using the pseudo-range observation of SINOSAT-1 satellite with C-band, we test the accuracy of orbit determination with the extended sequential algorithm. A conclusion can be drawn that the extended sequential algorithm can obtain a quite highly precise orbit, and its real-time performance is much better than the batch algorithm.
