Analysis Of Relationship Between Environmental Protection And People'S-Happiness In China

Happiness economics, which studies a lot of factors that affect people's well-being, is a new field of economics. At present, environment has become a more and more important factor that affects people's happiness in China; however, no serious researches that explore the relationship between individual's environmental attitudes and happiness, have been conducted in China. According to data of the survey we has conducted in Beijing, we could clearly see that environment factor has a significant effect on people's happiness.' This paper also analyzed the different responses by different age, gender and occupation groups, and showed that environment awareness and protection play an important role in improving the quality of life of Chinese. Finally we put forward some suggestions on the environment protection policy of the government.
