摘要
Emerging applications of portable electronics have developed significantly over the past decade, various wireless communication services have been disposable, which use many spectrum allocations, for example, industrial scientific medical (ISM), hiperlan and c-band. The stake has become, on the one hand, to propose structures of microstrip antennas making it possible to replace the old generation of the antennas having large dimensions by new products with a rather minimal size which resonates on at least two frequencies. On the other hand, to board them in more confined spaces while preserving their electromagnetic characteristics. These antennas must, therefore, be precisely designed to operate to be able to be worn and bend. In this article, a multiband microstrip antenna is used for their advantage; it's lightweight, has a small volume configuration, can make conformal to the host surface and support multi-operation with a single resonator element. This article offers a systematic study of bending effects on cylindrical surfaces applied on the multiband patch antennas. The impact of bending on the variation of resonance frequencies is presented theoretically using cylindrical-rectangular cavity model, and by simulations of a multiband antenna bent at different angles by a commercial full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulator ANSYS HFSS.
