In order to investigate the treatment efficiency by enhanced coagulation vortex technology, the experimental study of vortex clarifier was put forward on domestic wastewater with the patent products-irortex flocculation reactor which is produced by East China JiaoTong University. The removal efficiencies of CODCr, TP and NH3-N on domestic wastewater are investigated by compared with the Hydraulic Circulating Clarifier, Vortex Clarifier adding certain amount of types of HJTM-I or HJTM-II micro vortex reactors into the vortex flocculation chamber. The optimal efficiency conditions were of the HJTM-II type vortex clarifier, on which the effluent concentration of CODCr, TP could achieve the second grade and the first grade(A) of DisCharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant(GB 18918-2002). Still a series of experiments were obtained some design parameters and designed to study the efficiency on domestic wastewater system of small town.
