Assessment And Analysis Of Urban Heat Island Effect In Yuxi City

This paper calculated the temperature differentials of Yuxi city and its suburb JiangChuan during 1977-2006, found that urban heat island effect became more and more strong. Then we analyzed 12 influencing factors of urban heat island effect in Yuxi city with grey relational analysis, the analysis showed that developed area, density of population and percentage of greenery coverage were the main human factors, low cloud cover was were the main meteorological factor. And we predicted urban heat island effect in 2007-2012 in Yuxi city with radical basis function neural network model, the result showed that urban heat island effect in 2007-2012 in Yuxi city would have a upward trend, it would be 1.7927 degrees C in 2012.
