摘要
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19) manifests by a wide spectrum of presentation, ranging from asymptomatic disease to severe respiratory failure, myocardial injury and death. Because it is a new pathogen and depending on the degree of residual injury, inflammation and/or fibrosis, there are no long-term data on the cardiovascular sequelae that can occur in the convalescent phase. As more patients recover from the acute stage, clinical manifestations such as chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmias, and a higher incidence of venous thromboembolism could be referred to as sequelae and adequately evaluated through records and tests. Early detection and intervention may improve results in the long run.
