Column sequence used for input/output optimization in form data

The invention describes a column sequence used for input/output optimization in form data, and particularly relates to a system and a method used for determining a column sequence of data storage forms to perform search optimization, and a computer readable medium. In certain examples, a computing system is configured to receive an input containing multiple pieces of queried statistic data. Subsequently, the computing system can determine a new column sequence (namely, a layout) at least partially based on the statistic data. In certain example technologies described in the invention, the computing system can determine the new column sequence at least partially based on hardware components for storing the data storage forms, storage system parameters and/or user preference information. According to the example technologies described in the invention, the new column sequence can be applied to data added to the data storage forms subsequently and existing data in the data storage forms.
