Application Of Maximal Information Coefficient On Identifying Differentially Expressed Micro Rna Associated With Valvular Heart Disease
8TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (ICBBE 2014)(2014)
摘要
Valvular heart disease (VHD) is a public-health problem. It may be helpful to get insight into the biological processes and functional disorders of VHD by analyzing miRNA expression profile. A novel statistical method, maximal information coefficient, was introduced into identifying differentially expressed miRNAs related to VHD from case-control expression profiles. This method identified 2 strongly differential expressions of miRNAs in which hsa-miR-221* was a new differentially expressed miRNA by comparing the existing work.
