In recent years, multi-touch technology gradually matures, and touch structure becomes more and more complex, and more and more high touch accuracy is being required. We discuss the arrangement of sensors in infrared multi-touch technology and its effect on the accuracy of touch. In infrared multi-touch structure, the arrangement of sensors can be divided into single and double two ways. Different ways of configuration decided different method of coordinate calculation, and acquire a different touch accuracy. Experiments prove the single and double structure can achieve multi-touch, but double-layer structure has some problems such as cost is relatively high, slow response rate, single-layer structure with low cost, fast response speed, and coordinate calculation accuracy.
