摘要
The received acoustic signal in underwater acoustic communication system will show a fading due to time-variant sea surface. In nominal sea surface fluctuation, fading statistics distribution depends on Rayleigh roughness parameter which is a function of wave height, frequency and an incident angle. In this study, fading statistics distribution in littoral ocean is characterized theoretically and experimentally based on the Rayleigh parameter. The theoretical fading statistics well matches the experimental ones
