摘要
The aim of this work is to study the technical feasibility of the Cynara cardunculus biomass combustion in a atmospheric bubbling fludized bed pilot plant. Cynara cardunculus is a herbaceous pluriannual species that is being studied in the EU as a promising lignocellulosic crop in semiarid areas of southern Europe.Fluidized bed combustion of C. cardunculus biomass presents significant problems which are associated to some characteristics of the substrate such as the very low density and fibrous structure that produce particle agglomerates, very high reactivity and very high ash and alkali content, which cause different problems in the fluidized combustion process such as disruption of combustion plant feeding, instability of the pr process and formation of slags in the bed.The results obtained show that with the modification studied in the pilot plant, the feasibility of the FB combustion of the considered biomass has been demonstrated, bring achieved high energetic yields in the combustion process.
