Manifestations Of Loneliness In Aging In Spain And Cuba. Proposals For Action From The Perspective Of Accessibility

For decades we have been witnessing a progressive population aging worldwide. Most countries in the world are experiencing an increase in the number and proportion of older people, leading to one of the greatest social transformations of the 21st century. In this context, the interpersonal relationship deficit is one of the main changes that occur during the aging process and is closely related to the feeling of loneliness, negatively impacting the life of the elderly population, thus affecting their well-being and quality of life. Therefore, through this work, a comparative perspective of the situation of Cuba and Spain is carried out, analyzing the situation of each one of them as well as the action protocols that must be carried out to prevent and/or mitigate the effects that The loneliness not chosen has in the elderly, in order to improve their well-being
