摘要
In paper the estimation of overhead conductor temperature using artificial neural networks is dealt. Artificial neural networks, seen as systems of mutually connected neurons that exchange information among each other, are mainly used for evaluation of functions that are based on a large number of input data. In that manner they could be applied inside the dynamic thermal ratings of overhead lines. Aforementioned could represent a promising approach to increase the transmission capacity by considering the weather dependent thermal ratings of overhead power lines.
