An analysis for the received signal of Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system with antenna array shows that its signal has characteristics of a trilinear model, and the trilinear decomposition-based blind Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm for MC-CDMA system is presented therein. The proposed method can be regarded as the generalization of ESPRIT algorithm while exhibits wider application. Simulation results reveal the validity of our algorithm, which illustrates much better DOA estimation performance than both methods of ESPRIT and multi-invariance ESPRIT, and even supports quite small sampling sizes.
