What Factors Influence Standard Output? Empirical Evidence From China

This paper aims to identify the factors influencing standard output on the view of the region in China. Several factors such as R&D investment, patent applications, company size and export are explored. And the paper establishes the measurement model and does regression analysis based on the data from various regions in China from year 2001 to 2015. The results show that company size and export are positive with the standard development in the region while the R&D investment is negative. Especially an invert U curse can be used to describe relationship between patent applications and standard output. The paper gives explanations about the results and proposes several suggestions at the end.
