Impact of Bifrontal Home-Based Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation in Pain Catastrophizing and Disability due to Pain in Fibromyalgia: A Randomized, Double-Blind Sham-Controlled Study

•Home-based anodal(a)-transcranial direct current stimulation on the left- dorsolateral prefrontal cortex reduced the pain catastrophizing symptoms.•Home-based anodal(a)-transcranial direct current stimulation on the left- dorsolateral prefrontal cortex reduced the disability due to pain in fibromyalgia.•The transcranial direct current stimulation is a feasible self-applied technique to improve symptoms of fibromyalgia.
