Product Ergonomics Testing and Application Based on Multiple Methods.

This paper proposes to use multiple methods to test and evaluate product ergonomics, and use a combination of subjective and objective methods to evaluate the comfort of mattresses to verify the feasibility of multi-method evaluation. Altogether 10 healthy subjects participated in this experiment. They tested the body pressure distribution and spinal curvature on the two selected mattresses, then evaluated the subjective comfort of the mattresses. Experimental results show that the conclusions of the three methods are basically the same (the comfort of AM mattress is slightly better than that of OM mattress), thus verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of multi-method evaluation.
